Periodontal Exam and Evaluation
Once plaque or tartar has been cleared, your gums can be better examined. The health of the gum is just as important as the health of the tooth. Dr. Galan and his team will check the firmness of your gums and look for any infections or abscesses that may be present in your mouth.
Polishing
The last part of your teeth cleaning will usually end in a polishing. Since all the plaque and tartar is now gone your teeth can be polished to perfection and will feel smooth and clean.
